NM Lowering Springs

I've had these on my JCW for about 6 mos now and I still haven't gotten rid of the creaky sound in the front struts when going over tiny bumps. I've tried putting the rubber sleeves all the way up at first and then one coil turn down as recommended but the noise is still there. Rides fine though; the creaky noise when backing up slowly and going over small bumps and speed bumps is just really annoying. Any help/tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

did you trim the bumpstops? I know the NM instructions say to trim and those who havent have had some funny noises as a result of hitting the bumpstops...

Hi,

I just recently got mine taken off recently for the same reason. I've had them for a little over a year and loved them except the the creaking got progressively worse. It is partially due to the fact that it puts more stress on your struts. Ive narrowed it down to two main things, your top strut mounts are experiencing extra strain (may not be the best word to describe this) and the second is that your springs are in fact rubbing a little up top beyond the point that the sleeve can reach. Like I said, i just recently took mine off and replaced with stock and the sound is completely gone. I invested into jcw coils but I did love the springs for the time that I've had them. Let me know if you have any questions :)
