If you want camber plates, post in this thread

No one makes camber plates for the F56. With that said I've been emailing anyone I can think of, to see if they are going to make plates. My general sense is that there isn't enough demand. I'd love to have a million responses to this thread and then point manufacturers to this thread in hopes they will begin production.

Thus far I've reached out to:

sneed4speed
Ireland Engineering
Vorshlag
Helix Motorsports

Thanks.

I'm amazed 300 people have read this but not one has expressed any interest

I'm interested :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Well that makes two of us blue al. Haha.

Add f56 to the title to grab more attention, good luck to you.

Pertplus 04-15-2016 04:23 PM

Vorshlag is making them and they should be out later in the summer.

Yep. Looks like the MINI top mounts are a derivative of the BMW F22 top mounts, so most of the work we did on the BMW will cross over to the MINI.

To achieve the stock perch height, and not raise the car when on stock springs took some real work. Right now our F22 tester is pounding miles and track days on the design trying to break it. But so far it's all been good.

That's wonderful news, looking forward to it!

I'm definitely in for some.

I bugged companies back when the cars first got stateside and no luck. So glad Vorshlag stepped up! They are the first company i messaged a few years ago lol.

Just for reference - here are the Challenge car fixed camber bushings. These are not available for general sale - I got them because of my issues with the adjustables. I hope these fix the movement issues and retain camber! We will find out today I suppose!

VicSkimmr 05-03-2016 09:03 AM

I'm definitely in.

I contacted BC about releasing some (since all of their coilovers normally come with them standard) but they gave up on the project due to space constraints.

VolcanicOrangeF56S 05-03-2016 09:09 AM

Oh yeah - I forgot to update lol. They ended up giving -1 in addition to stock. Seem to be holding tight so far!

randomquickness 05-05-2016 05:04 PM

so did you end up with about -1.5 up front?

VolcanicOrangeF56S 05-05-2016 05:13 PM

-1.7l/-1.8r

I hear the f22 will be availible for sale soon, are these a straight shoe-in for the mini f56

Or do you need more development time for us ?

Bster13 10-19-2016 06:12 PM

Hello, has anyone received any update on the Vorschlag plates?

#pepper# 10-30-2016 09:10 AM

Are there any updates on camber plates? I would sure like to find some for the F56.

ryanschram 11-03-2016 07:49 PM

Anyone figure a way to adjust caster yet? my front right is off, so even after an alignment, it pulls slightly to the right. No adverse tire wear, just an annoyance.

Must be nearly time these are ready for the mini ?

update:
the test vehicle got into a car accident and then was sold so the camber plates were never tested. they are still looking for a test vehicle and the utmost no-questions-asked REQUIREMENT is that they are a texas local (vorshlag located in Plano, TX).

doesn't matter if you're 1 state away, they REQUIRE a local car as they do constant checks pre- and post-install. any texas folk here?

I've got a 2016 JCW with the JCW Pro suspension, exhaust, and the Quaife LSD out of the Challenge car. I also live in downtown Dallas. Wonder if they'd want to test out camber plates on my car.

same suspension bits as f56, so you'd be a fairly perfect fit. I'll PM you when I get to a PC. Thanks for this!!
