Rear Control Arms on ebay

Does anyone have any experience with these? Looks pretty cheap compared to the competition out there, but I'm wondering about the quality?

Usually you get what you pay for. I would steer clear. It's weird that these supposedly fit both generations, unless he asks you which year you have before he makes 'em. By the way, I'll be putting my ALTA control arms up for sale soon, if you're interested.

$160 delivered to your door is $50 less than what I paid for TSW. Ask seller if he has a way you can contact previous purchasers, if they give it positive feedback then go for it.

The ones linked have solid heim joints.

So TSW > the ones linked...(and most others)

This seems a bit weird to me, like he doesn't really know what he's selling...

For those who prefer aluminum, a set of 2 adjustable rear control arm links for Mini Cooper 2002-10. These arms are constructed of 1 inch (25.4mm) diameter x .156 inch (4mm) wall steel tubing with a wrench flat to facilitate adjustment. The connecting tubes are gold-anodized and match the finish of my sway-bar links, listed seperately

I don't know the quality either but before you start bashing things. Don't forget the step between the mfg and the retailer. Unless you are manufacturing everything you sell? If you tell us your margins then we'll be able to compare apples to apples.

I GOT THESE!!!

First off, arrived SUPER FAST in CALI.. Got it after about 5 days. Quality was GREAT, nice solid control arms lighter than stock definitely. Installation was really simple too, just finding the right tools to get to the inner control arm bolts, i.e. those that are towards the center of the car were really tough. The bolts on the rear wheel hubs were fairly loose so that was nice. All in all easy install, really just removing four bolts altogether. Just PIT to get to some of them. All you really need for the install is a 18mm or 3/4" socket, and a matching 18mm or 3/4" wrench too. Pretty simple.

But for the price you pay, GREAT quality!!!

Bought a set, installed by the shop. Did an alignment. No noise, very beefy (and heavier than the stock stamped arms). Don't know if they'll get noisy after time, but we'll see.

There is another thread about his stuff here and he is a member on the forums. THe other thread is here https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...y-special.html

I have his end links and they are pretty beefy. There is someone that has has them for a couple of years I think without any noise issue. Worth checking out.

Anyone heard of T5 TopSpeed Pro 1 Performance?

Saw they had a set of 4 adjustable control arms, upper and lowers for a decent price. Fairly similar to the set hunter99 is running, but they are also powder coated.

Looking for some input before I buy. Camber on my rear is off so Im looking into adjustable arms. Tire wearing unevenly on the inside.

If you have some thoughts, please let me know!

A bit condescending.

He may not have the overheads that you do, and he manufactures his own products, which means he can pitch a price point lower than yours.

You're saying his products are crap because of a typo?

Have you tried the arms? I have.

+1 to a long dead thread He’s still making them. Ive had a set of the lowers on for a little while now and they are solid! Definiteley worth it and for the price they’re as good if not better than the altas. Those solid heim joints don’t make a sound.
