I ordered H&R Lowering springs from FMW Tuning in Germany and the shipped them on March 30th and I still dont have them. This is crazy! Did anyone else wait this long?

 

You should probably contact the vendor...

I told them that I would like a refund. Is this normal? I have ordered many things overseas and never had it take this long. Even my Mini was built and shipped over here quicker than that.

Their response was.

where is the problem??
shipping time is 4 - 6 weeks but the custom office in the USA needs sometime 2 weeks to control the parcel
ask times with your customs office whether the package lies there
we starts tomorrow an package pursuit by german post but its needs 4 - 6 weeks

hmm, thats pretty crappy man. I find it pretty hard to believe that they have no way to track a package though.

 

I agree! You would think they would to protect themselves. All I want are the springs and I cant find them anywhere in stock.

 

I got mine in 2 days...

...but I'm 30 minutes from H&R's US distributor, so...

On the other hand, I paid more$$$.

 

I received my H&R springs from FMW in about 10 days. I was surprised to get them that quick. I agree that communication is tough, I'd guess mostly due to the language barrier. That really sucks to hear you haven't gotten them yet, I'd think you should have by now, based on my and msh441's experience.

I just ordered another set from Web Motorsports. Sucks cause thats another $300.

I ordered mine from tirerack, but they said they wouldn't have them til mid june, but for 212 shipped I can wait.

yeah, I never got mine from FMW, its been over 8 weeks! I really just want to lower the car.

 

And they already charged me.

 

What about contacting your credit card company and denying the charge?

 

I did that yesterday. They wanted me to wait another 4-6 weeks for them to track it. I only have 8 weeks to dispute a charge with my CC company. This is crazy!

 

mikeg4572: CALL ME tomorrow. I have them in the building. (at least when I left they were there ;-) We are a long term H&R direct stockist. Sorry you are having a problem. That totally stinks. I hate how some vendors give us all a bad rap! Hope to hear from you tomorrow!
