Hoe many members just have a Cooper (Non-s) I know marc and me both have coopers. Any other memebers? Dont let me feel alone haha

 

I"m not sure if I like the term "just a cooper." It is a MINI F***ing Cooper! Worship the hallowed ground upon which it rolls and weep, for you are in the presence of greatness.

I gather you haven't seen the Team Justacooper thread yet. You need to pledge to persue driver education (autocross, HPDE, or some other driver training) to join, but it is open to all Cooper owners that are willing to work on being better drivers and really explore the vast capabilities of the MC (even in stock form).

 

I was half joking. I've taken many performance driving classes, and used to compete in SCCA rally events; Oregon Trail, ROTW, etc...
I haven't done any of this with the MINI though...yet. I feel that the Cooper is better suited for out-of-the-box performance in rally events than the "S".

 

There is, however, one aspect that you are missing, that is the glorious sounds that the MCS makes vs the MC

However, I wave to all MINI's and Mini's

 

I'm more into the sound of a turbo winding up...like in the new "S"!!! That will be my next car for sure. I'll take turbo over super charger any day.

 

Turbo has more power as well.
