sway bars

I'm looking to upgrade my rear sway bar. I will also be running to car in STX next year. I'm not looking to win a national championship or anything but I want to run street tires and my car will have to many mods to run G stock. I was looking at the H-Sport 25 mm bar. Is that too big for a daily driver? I'm not too concerned about the drive just performance. Would I be better off going with, say, the Alta 22 mm bar? Thanks for the help.

I run the H-sport (25.5 hollow, which I assume you're referring to?) on my daily driver / street mod MINI and have had no problems.

I'm not going to look up the exact stats on % over stock difference between the alta and the h-sport, but I imagine it's similar depending on settings and the h-sport is lighter.

I run the H-Sport 25.5 CroMolly bar on street on hardest setting, no probs.
From stock to 25.5 bar, you can rotate with abrupt throttle release in turns, no brakes required. At first I decreased psi in rears, now on hardest setting and back to higher psi in rear-now used to it.

I think the H sport 25.5 MM hollow bar is generally equivalent to the 22 MM size. I run 22 MM as a DD but on the softest setting. I think it is fine after I have gotten more use to it. As mentioned by howsoon, it does have a tendency for the rear end to step out on you if you are not attentive but that is easy to save in a FWD.

I run both H-Sport sway bars with their front camber plates and rear camber links along with TSW springs. I drive my car at least 1/2 the days to work and everything isn't too rough.
