Just installed some ik22's
I love it. I feel like i am doing my car good. I just have 2 questions, Do i have to gap them, and what tourqe do i have to put them at when tightening them in? Thanks.

I seem to recall 23 lbs/sq/in but regardless CHECK THE TORQUE OFTEN! THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS POSTS ABOUT PEOPLE BLOWING PLUGS OUT OF THEIR CARS.Jock

For some reason my SES light comes on now that i put them in. I tourqued them to the correct pound feet and everything. Any ideas? Thanks

Can you pull the codes? If it shows a misfire, check to make sure your boots are properly seated.

i thought general rule of thumb for plugs was like hand tight, just snug...

NEVER MEMORIZE TORQUE SETTINGS In other words, don't trust your memory, even if you're 100% certain. Look it up! Also, I've heard that you want to use anti-seize. Pick it up at any auto parts store. |
