How to clean my alta intake's foam?

So im supposed to clean it every 10k miles right? Thats about now, how do I clean this thing? Someone told me I could use diluted simple green to clean it and then let it dry for a day...

It can be purchased at outmotoring.com or try a local motorcycle shop

Right, you use the cleaner and rinse it very well. Then let try afterwards you oil it.

Use the aforementioned UNI filter cleaning kit--they sell it at Alta's web site, although if you can find it in a store near you, get it, because shipping was really expensive everywhere I looked, (not just from Alta). Because it has two cans of compressed liquid with propellant, that makes shipping cost more...

So look around your area for it.

Don't use Simple Green.
