R55 Driver's door won't lock
 

So I just got an 2011 R55 the other day, noticed a day or two later that the driver's door won't lock via the FOB, the center console switch, nor when I put the actual key in the door (and I'm assuming won't unlock either though I haven't tried pressing the physical lock down just because I'm not sure if it would unlock and I don't want to be locked out of the driver's side)

So everything I've read says maybe it's the actuator, but is there any other opinions of what could be wrong?

I've tried the whole unplugging the battery for half an hour and it didn't fix anything.

Forgot to mention the passenger and gas lid and barn doors lock and unlock normally.

Yep its the door actuator, they get week and fail.
