Going to replace valve stem seals... any other maintenance while I'm at it?

Hi all

I'm planning to replace the valve stem seals in about a week.
Are there any items I can replace as preventive maintenance?

(not going to remove the head)

My car is a 2009 base model with 46,000 miles on the clock
N12 engine, not turbocharged, not direct injected.

Thank you.

Sensible things would include:

- Valve cover gasket
- Where fitted, O-rings on any of the components that you need to remove
- Where fitted, gaskets on any of the components that you need to remove
- The Vanos gear TTY bolts

You might want to consider replacing the thermostat housing and cross over pipe, goes beyond the area that you are working in, however both of these components fail at some point.
