Windshield washer pump doesn't work at all

Hi guys, ever since I bought my car 25k miles ago, the windshield washer pump has never worked. I figured since I'm doing some work on the car anyways over the weekend, I would try to figure it out. The pump doesn't work at all. When I pull on the stalk, the wipers activate, but I can't hear the motor running at all. I made sure the washer fluid was topped off and everything. Anything I should check? Also I have an r52 so there is no rear pump, I'm only asking about the front washer pump.

there's never a second pump ... one pump serves both front and rear washers .... relays make the pumo spin one way to serve the font, and the other way to serve the rear .... <when xenon headlights are there, THESE have a sep' pump for their washers>

there are two fuses ... check F11 and F23

the motor is buried behind the pass' side wheel well ....

This is on my 2004 R50, hopefully it’s the same.

The fender is off the car to repair some minor damage.

Black electrical connector on the left, snap in (?) mounting pin to the right of the connector.

Electrical connector removed for a little better view of the mounting pin.

It looks like the pump comes out by pulling it towards the left, in the picture. All I saw on the bottom of the pump was a large gasket.

The windshield washer reservoir is full so I didn’t try taking it out.
