R56S Won't start after pulling intake off of turbo
Hey guys, I recently just did a complete engine overhaul (new pistons, head gasket, timing chain set), the car started up brilliantly well (first crank) when it was all put back together.
It was running fine until I started to do some tinkering under the hood while it was running. I removed the turbo inlet pipe off of the turbo while it was running, the car began sputtering, then just died out (for obvious reasons). It will crank over but not start now. Scanned with ISTA-D, no codes thrown. Replaced crank and cam sensors; no dice. Cleared all faults in ISTA-D (if any), still no start. The car will ignite once, but not start. (spark once, then nothing) Going to re-check my timing tonight, but is there anything that would prohibit a start after doing what I did? Thanks! |
Edit: timing slipped on the intake cam. We're all set now
