Coolant leak near alternator—what's most likely cause?

I noticed today that a friend's R56 (It's an S model) was alarmingly low on coolant. After poking around under the car I discovered a leak close to the passenger rear corner of the engine. I can't see too much of what's going on without disassembling the engine but I assume there are only so many components in that corner of the engine bay that can leak coolant.

What's my likeliest suspect?

Thanks!

Water pump or water pipe on the far side, mine leaked in the back corner for the water pump, the plastic housing cracked. Upgraded to metal and GTG.
