Vibration at idle

Vibration at idle
I have searched and read a fair amount about vibration, but nothing sounds like mine. I have a 06 S with a 17 pulley. I have replaced the pass side engine mount. I also have a new powerflex lower mount insert. Trans mount looks fine. I am pretty sure the exhaust is stock.
I get a terrible vibration and exhaust drone at exactly 1000 rpms. Sometimes the car idles at 1000 rpms which is terrible... But mostly when warming up. At 800 or 1200 and up the car is smooth.
I do have a Valeo clutch kit installed.
Any suggestions on where to look.

I was wondering about that. I have 106K miles and I put the insert into what I think was the original mount (which looked ok). I'll order a new lower Lemforder mount and just replace the whole thing (minus the insert). It is actually OK except for exactly 900 - 1000 RPMs.
I love Minis and even have a 1987 Mini, but I am beginning to think the 2006 is a 100K mile car (and that is it). It sounds like a bucket of loose bolts. It is still a hoot to drive (except for the feeling that something is going to break when taking a corner).
