I dropped a socket wrench on my battery terminals. Various Malfunction lights

The socket wrench made contact with both battery terminals. The first thing I noticed was the horn was stuck on. Second, the Fog lamp malfunction light, then the Engine shut off after 5-10 minutes after running in the driveway, with a check engine light. Follwed by various Malfunction lamps, power steering and other possibly I don't remember.It's been 3 weeks since the incident and the Rear Fog lamp malfunction lamp will come on upon start up intermittently, then go off after after minute. The front fog light switch, when turned on the dash illumination lights come on. And when flipped off, they turn off. After some time he fog light switch issue stops, sometimes.​​​​​​ I have had intermittent occurrences of the engine cutting off after 5-10 minutes of running in the driveway. It was a sputter out too. The screen behind steering wheel shows the engine light after this happens.

I replaced 4 relays in the fuse box in the engine compartment. (The 4 big green boxes that are in a row)

first thing I'd try would be the old 'hard reset' of disconnecting the battery for several hours to allow the car to go truly dead electrically (when you turn it 'off' it eventually goes to sleep but certain functions are still operating .. the computers are still getting power .. you want to 'unplug everything')

then connect it back up and cross your fingers

Thank you for the suggestion! After months of intermittent problems come to find out that it was related to the coil packs and spark plugs going bad. And possibly the high pressure fuel pump going bad?? I was told that the eare quirky in these vehicles and when battery voltage is low then it can throw weird lights. Somehow after replacing the coil packs, spark plugs, and high pressure fuel pump the problems went away!
