Passenger airbag recall
 
I am trying to get an answer to the safty recall for the seat pad replacement.
if the recall is to repair the possibility that the passanger airbags will not deploy and the light is on the dash that indicates an error in the system. When the recall is performed and the light still indicated a fault in the airbag system. How are owners to know the system has been repaired? The dealers tell us we need to buy a modual for $1000.00. This tells me the problem did not get repaired and there is still a safety problem. Is the seat pad the cheaper of the items?

Call your local Mini dealer....or stop in...... with your Vin # and they will tell you.

That's what I did.
