Helloevery one I'm new here please bear with me . I have a 2009 clubman and ihave two issues with it fist , when i set idle for a while like 3minutes the engine starts to smoke it goes away when i start moving some time it somkes for at least five miles then goes away . Second issue is the A/C went out one morning while driving any ideas ?

I can't help with the a/c problem. But if you try to remove the oil filler cap while it's running is it very tight and being held by a strong vacuum? If it is then your pcv system has failed and the vacuum limiting valve in the valve cover has failed. This sucks oils through the back pcv outlet into the intake at idle and high vacuum. Other than that it could be bad valve seals. My first guess I'd the valve cover though. Is it an S model?

It's not an S or there is no strong vacuum at the valve cover? My father was sir LOL
