Smoke from exhaust after idling r56 cooper s
So i have smoke coming from my exhaust, only after it idles for a bit while on and i press on the gas. Doesn't smoke WHILE it's idling, only after it idles for a bit and i drive off or gas it while it's standing. I checked the intake going into the turbo, no oil puddling on/near the turbo inlet. But there is oil coating the intake pipe after the intercooler. Could this be the problem? How would i fix this? |

Yes it dose.but if it is valve seals no, valve cover needs to be removed and then you can replace the seals, usually that should fix the problem. Also I did replace the turbo oil line with Detroit tune oil line. best thing you can do. I am sure there are other members with lot more knowledge that can chime in, this is just my opinion.i had to have mine done. |
