FOB circuit board missing, MCS 06 will not start

The Circuit board is not in the FOB housing. Is it required to start the vehicle. I'm scouring my house looking for it now.....

The circuit board is only for remote lock/unlock, and not required for starting the car. Besides the circuit board, the fob also contains an immobilizer chip, which is required to start the car. See pictures of the immobilizer chip in post #2 and post #3 here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...for-cheap.html
