Need More Help-Axle shaft

08' S Automatic
Dropped a new(used) Transmission in. Could not get old driver side axle out of old trans. Now I cant get the a rebuilt axle into the new trans. I know its the "c" clip that is stopping it from going in. I have removed the clip and it slides right in. This has happened with a Rockauto axle and a Napa brand axle.

Any Ideas?

I usually put some moly grease or anti seize on the clip. Use it sparingly, you don't need to goober the clip up. They are often tough to R&R

Get a factory MINI axle. We see these problems all the time from the aftermarket axles.

Changed the "c" clip that comes install from the people that rebuilt the axle to a factory clip from Mini. Stupid thing went right in!
