Alright so I’ve got an R53 05. 147k miles. This started happening about 6 mo ago for one day that was sunny, then stopped completely and I had no issues, just started again. I’ll be driving and all of the sudden the wipers activate. Cruising on highway, driving city, doesn’t matter. May do it for 5 swipes, may do it for 1, may not do it at all. Everything on the multi function works perfect, but in off mode they still activate. Ideas? I haven’t started replacing things yet on it. Thanks for your thoughts!!

Yeah I noticed that after I posted. Was in a rush on lunch break and was thinking 1st gen 😳. Hoping to try and start tracing it this weekend to see if any wiring is messed up and go from there, but it’s already stopped doing it 😡
