Ohhh I’m definitely not saying your wrong I’m fully assuming that the info I had prior to now was bad. Easyish *** though. Which way do you fill the trans? I’ve been using the 12mm bolt on the side of the trans case.
you should use the T55 one in the back facing the power steering motor. It is hard to break but airtools make it easy...I used to unbolt the rear motor mount to get more space
Sorry for the late response....yes you can add fluid while running...once it starts to trickle from the drain plug, close it, run through the gears slowly then check fluid again. Add a little bit this time and once it trickles, close it and take it for a drive.
It’s funny I have a group of guys who hang at my shop they see me go through this and keep saying things like “never again dude” I’m here thinking I learned a ton and next time it will be way easier. I appreciate all the knowledge and help I gained here. Now I have to put a down pipe, cat back, and hpfp in a R56-S manual. I kinda like these things to be honest now that this one is shifting good it’s a riot to drive.
