R53 timing off?

I just finished reassembling my engine after replacing my head. I had replaced the head gasket and learned upon startup thst it was my head that was bad. That startup was smooth as could be. Engine immediately idled and smoothed out after a little smoke.
Tonight's start up with the refurbished head, not so smooth. It revved kinda high, stumbled and died. Restarted and was able to keep it running with a little throttle. It will idle some now, it is rough and up and down on the rpm's. It chuggs, stumbles, shakes and is all kinds of not right. Is the timing off a tooth? Is that even possible as I used the cam tool and lined the chain and sprocket up with my marks from teardown. Refurbished head and the cam it came with are the only new pieces from last startup. Please help, I need my Mini back on the road!

Fixed!

Make sure you plug in the throttle body! Makes a big difference!
