Idle Issues
Hi all, so after installing my AEM intake and running my 08 mcs around the block I noticed my idle fluctuating quite a bit when parked or stopped. It had done this every now and then before but now its pretty common. It’s happened to me on my other cars usually because of dirty injectors. I’m running some fuel additive cleaner now to see if that does the trick.
However I know this engine goes through oil (after 3k miles it was almost empty) so when I checked that yesterday the engine almost shut off when I pulled the dipstic out. I tried it again and same result. The car isn’t throwing any codes so any advice would be appreciated.

Never check the oil with the engine running. Bad triumph442 bad
You have an air leak somewhere. First is go to where man has gone last. Double check all the connections on the AEM. You probably had a small leak somewhere else before which has now been compounded by an additional one in the AEM.
