06 MCS no start
I have a 2006 MCS conv. that has me pulling out my hair. Bought it and drove for about 1 month then radio stopped working(shows disabled) then top would no longer go down then no dash lights all over 1 week. Then it started and died and would no longer start. Replaced bcm after doing some research and reset computer. No change. Checked and cleaned body grounds with no results. No codes on scanner all fuses and relays good. Also key stopped locking unlocking reset and worked to lock/unlock for a few minutes. Also checked battery which is good. No moisture in car. also new crank/cam position sensors. Any help would be appreciated

When you say you 'checked battery,' was it checked by you or by an auto parts store with an automobile battery tester (which tests cranking power, and whether the charging system is functioning under load), or did you simply put a volt-meter on it? A fully charged battery should read 12.6 volts with the vehicle off and 14+ volts with the engine running under load.
A failing or failed battery can still show 12 volts, but not have the capacity to properly support full electrical function on a MINI, potentially exhibiting electrical inconsistencies like the ones you are experiencing.
