P2803 OBD Code??
#1
#2
#3
It's definitely a P and not a B. I have the dreaded CVT trans which is acting a little strange as of late; "Jerks" as I pull away from a stop. The "jerk" is really bad when going from reverse to drive. Seems to get a little better as the car warms up.
I purchased the OBD reader last week after the car started misfiring a bit. I think the prob was corrosion on the #3 connection on the coil. I gave it a good cleaning with some steal wool and it runs fine now. Funny thing is, the transmission seem to act up after I had the oil change......not sure if that is related or not.
Are the OBD codes make and model specific? In other words, would a P0036 mean something different on a Jeep or BMW?
Thanks.
