Hello guys,

I am wondering if I missed something. I bought M7 catch can, installed it without any issues. However, it's always dry. On the same time, the other PCV (to inlet manifold) is always wet and i had huge carbon biuld-up.

Any idea how comes there's no oil under pressure? Is this OCC somehow directional? Instruction didn't show any in/out on it's outlets..

Will be doing second OCC anyways, but yuk, this one should work too )
Any assistance highly appreciated.

you wont get much if you live where its hot all the time

 

I believe the valve cover has a baffle that switches witch PCV hose to use based on pressure in the crankcase. if the hose to the turbo intake doesnt have much oil coming through try switching the catch can to the other one to the intake manifold.
Some people are running two catch cans on the n14 engines, but it sounds like you may not need the second one.

 

Very good point. I will do that. Obviously on idle (left side PCV) I have much more oil going into intake (did wallnut job a week ago, valves were super dirty).
