Vacuum Issue
Hi..
A couple weeks ago I noticed a significant reduction in power when merging onto the highway. It still ran well enough, no missing, no CEL. Eventually the half power icon came up, but still no CEL. After inspect the car I realized that the vacuum line between turbo and vacuum tank (number 3 on diagram) was not connected and very fragile, so I have order a new one but when I was connecting the new one I was no able to find the vacuum tank (number 1 on diagram), someone of you know where it is located?
Thanks in advance..

Thanks... I'll do that on weekend when have time,,, the last time I was trying to find the vacuum tank from below the car by putting it on a ramp, because I was trying to avoid removing intake manifold, but if there is not other way I think that I will start taking out parts around xD....

If the half power light is on there are codes stored, but you need a dealer level tool to read them.
Those vacuum lines to the reservoir are prone to oil saturation and they fall off over time, once you've got new line installing them shouldn't take long, just make sure to do the job with the car cold, it's not pleasant to work around that exhaust when it's warm.

Hi all,
Thanks for your help,... I've fixed the problem yesterday (02/19/2017)... by following this step by step tutorial I've partially removed the manifold intake to get access to the vacuum tank:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-procedure.pdf
It's not clear but the vacuum tank is right there:
Well, now the car runs really nice, Also I've changed the oil (mobil full synthetic 0-40), spark plugs (NGK 95770 ILZKBR7B8DG Laser Iridium Plug) and a K&N air filter(
33-2936)......
Thanks..

Good to hear you fixed it. I see there is oil in the area of the vacuum lines, did you replace the soft hoses for the vacuum lines? Oil saturation will cause those lines to swell and not seal right causing them to eventually to fall off again. If you didn't replace the sections of line I would recommend it.
