To the my knowledge the last time I checked Timken hubs were manufactured in China.
well to be fair so are plenty of other quality brand products.

*sigh*

I think people don't understand that college student enthusiasts have to pay for an apartment, utilities, cell phone, insurance, gas and replacement MINI parts on like $900/mo max budget...Chinese crap is all I can afford, guys.

Sometimes, you just have to just buy the part that will fail again, and hope that you'll have more money later when they fail.

I just picked up one of these (http://www.autohausaz.com/pn/62bwkh01a) I figure if i'm only doing one for now I can swallow the cost. Buy whatever you can afford. Your options are to drive around on a bad bearing and risk catastrophic failure or just replace it with a cheap part that will buy you some time. Buy whatever you can afford and get it done.

I'm a really cheap person but for $150 I can get a part that will last me another hundred thousand miles. To me that's a no-brainer.
Thanks.

Yep , we have those here. Note there is a split in 7/2006: Front ones seem to be the first ones to go, i just did mine in pairs.

Any updates on the aftermarket bearings? I was just told I need to replace mine and really can't swing an oem one right now.

Amazon carries several. Make sure to buy ones with induction hardened hubs. (they are hardened around the outside of where the bearings go into the hub.) They are around $65 each. I have used several, with good results.

I ignored all the rich people and bought cheap WJB RockAuto ones. ~10k miles on 'em now, still rolling strong!

Can you replace the bearings in these or do you have to buy the new hub assembly?

I have a press and usually just replace the bearing only.

You can replace the bearings, but I see no profit in it! You don't know the ones you have in it are hardened steel cases, that will not swell. Heat turns some of the cheap ones into worse than worn bearings.
Having good quality bearings in a crap cartridge, will not give you a sound drive!
Just my thoughts on this relatively important part!
