2004 cooper, replaced left strut mount and both front control arms bushings (which are on the rear of the control arm) alined toe in/out to 0'0". removed and cut the wire to the brake pad sensor, (left front and rear right) tied brake pad wires together. pulled the car of the lift and now i have abs, asc, brake pad, flat tire monitor lights all on. what the heck, i didnt do any thing with the braking system, tire presure. the dsc switch wont turn off the asc light. check all the wire cant find any bad wiring. any ideas on what to do next?

You most likely need a wheel speed sensor, if it wasn't left unplugged that is..

You'll need to find someone with a scan tool and see which of the wheel speed sensors is faulty or non responsive.

didnt have the problem before changing the bushing, why would a speed sensor go bad after the bushing change, didnt unplug it during the work. I have heard that speed sensor can be test with a volt meter but i dont know what ohm reading should i see ?

The sensor is a hall effect sensor, ohm reading isn't going to tell you much, you need to either run an oscilliscope or scan tool on it.

The fact that you had the left front corner apart to do the strut mount would lead me to start diagnostic with the left front sensor.

You need a quality scan tool, generic tools are fairly useless.

The lights are on for a wheel speed fault, whether you have a faulty sensor or damaged the tone ring on the wheel bearings.
