Dealer says $4,600, that's not gonna happen. Any recommendations for a shop in San Jose/Gilroy area? TIA

Buy a clutch off rockauto for $100 and go to an Indy it's a 10-12 hour job.

Slightly North... Edge Motorworks in Mountain View or BR Racing in Los Gatos? Haven't been to either since I'm farther up the Peninsula, but have heard good things about both on this forum.

You could do the Valeo Dual mass to single mass conversion on your MCS and then find any indy shop in SF, there are a bunch of MINIs out there so should be couple that could do it. It you find a club member , some of those would do it for you.
