Driver's door wiring issue? '07 S
 

Hey hey. So here's the deal; the driver's door on my newly acquired 2007 Cooper S doesn't respond to the lock and unlock from central locking, the window doesn't go up when the door is closed, I'm getting the door open gong noise and the interior light doesn't come on when the driver's door is open. The mirror control works fine as does the lights in the door. I can lock/unlock the door with the key and the handle and whatnot works. Sounds like an electrical problem to me.

Sounds like the BCM module or footwell module got wet ? But I would check the connection / harness in the door jam first, pull back the little cover gaskets in the front door jam and check for wire issues first.
