08 Cooper won't start
 

Hi. I have a 2008 Mini Cooper Hard Top with a 6-spd automatic and a push button ignition. Yesterday, I hit a pothole (not a very large one in my opinion) and my car started running rough and died a few seconds later. Now it won't start. The starter engages but the engine seems to either not be getting fuel or isn't getting a spark. It's like the engine wants to start but needs a little kick. I've heard that there is a sensor that is supposed to sense when you've been in an accident and shut off the fuel supply and that sometimes that sensor gets jarred and needs to be reset. Any advice would be helpful. :confused:
