comfort access system question

I have a 2009 clubman s and it has the comfort access. I can roll the windows down, tilt the sunroofs, pop the back door open but I can't use the button on the door to unlock/lock door feature. Am I doing something wrong?

Help!!!

It should unlock your doors, do you have the little rubber buttons on each door handle? Sometimes my door lock/unlock gets a seizure and just won't work, very rare though. There is a control module that can stop working, some have had to replace the control module. I forget where it's located.

Was your issue resolved? I have the same problem but only on the passenger side. It actually feels like whatever is inside/behind the rubber is not there or is pushed in. Is this possible?

The handle comfort access button can be hard to press in, its pretty small, sometimes you have to hold you finger for 2-3 second and press it hard, I noticed on early R56 2007 MINI, they can get pretty hard to press with age. Also make sure the battery for the comfort access is new.

That battery is for the CA key fob separate accessible battery , not the built in non replaceable.
