R53 Windshield wipers won't shut off!!
 

I couldn't find a thread on this topic, but surely I am not the first with this problem. It all started a year ago during the rainy season. I windshield wipers would not turn off after turning them on. They stayed on for about a week of daily driving. I turned them off by pulling and swaping the relay with a similar one. As long as I didn't turn the car off they remained off.
Now after no problems since that week for almost a year, It started again. This time I moved the car to wash it and when I was going to park it again they immeadiately turned on even though the wipers were in the OFF position. The same trick worked again until I turned the car off and the key back to the on position. Please help I have tried to research this and haven't found any one with a similar problem.

Now they won't turn on!!
 

Before I couldn't get them to shut off and now they won't turn on. This mainly happens during a rainy period of time, and not when I wash the car.
Any help would be appriciated.

Check for water in the pass floor board under the carpet. The bc1 controls the wipers and if its wet its bad
