I honestly never read the owners manual about this. One night, setting in a parking lot at the airport waiting for my wife to fly in I started playing with it. Holding the switch forward I could have it change thru all the different colors. When I found the color and intensity that I wanted I pulled the switch to the rear and it has stayed there no matter what I'm doing.

Mine is a '13 base hardtop.

I have a 2019 Clubman, it does this and it drives me nuts. I don’t have a welcome_scenario_active entry in my code (that I could find with bimmercode app)…so any other ideas/experience to stop the color cycle when unlock and open the door?

I have a 2014 Clubman and have been searching for the answer to this.
I have the lights set on red, but when you open the doors to get in the lights cycle through all colors and then stop back on the red. Can this be changed? I want it to stay on the color I have selected when the doors are opened.
I have even contacted my MA about this and so far he has not been able to answer. Do they all do this after the 2011?
