Driver's Door Hard to Open
 

I know this should be covered by my warranty but I am curious if anybody else has had this problem. I tried to open my driver's door and couldn't get the door handle to work. I pressed as hard as I could and the door wouldn't open. I tried locking and unlocking but it still didn't work. I finally went around to the passenger side, reached through and opened from the inside. This has happened intermittently several times. After the last time, I tried slamming the door really hard and that seemed to solve the issue for the next opening. I've been closing the door hard since and it hasn't recurred.

Both of my doors are hard to open lately and its getting worse. Will have the dealer take a look at the next service cycle.

From the similar issues read about this happens when the door latch needs to be lubed. There are a couple of other threads describing where to apply the oil.
