Both Window Toggles won't work
 

OK, almost 1 year to the day I purchased my 2011 JCW, I finally have an issue.

Vehicle parked overnight, weather unseasonably warmer, so no cold, snow or freezing. Went out and both my windows do not lower. Matter of fact, when I opened the door, the drivers side window wouldn't "raise" after it lowered. :sly: So now I have an window that not setting properly.

All other toggles work, radio works, headlights work. Of course, dealer is on a holiday schedule today, so I've schedule an appt. for tomorrow.

Thoughts?, I can see one toggle not working, but both going out at the same time?

Power Window Manual Reset Procedure
- Close the door fully
- Hold window switch down and continue to hold for 10 seconds after windows is fully down
- Hold window switch up and continue to hold for 10 seconds after windows is fully up
- Repeat Steps 1 and 2
- Repeat all steps for opposite window.

If the procedure doesn't work, the FRM (footwel module) has lost function memory for the windows and needs to be reset.
This can be done by a dealer reprogramming as there has been updated TSB's with reprogramming the FRM.
This is a common issue and tread; when the manual reset does not work the car needs be reprogrammed from MINI service.

Just an update, took the vehicle in this morning and heard back a few minutes ago. There was a registered fault code thrown and recorded. Codes shown were 9ccb and 9ccc for power window relays.

However, no reprogramming done since it was working fine when I brought it in this morning.

my 08 turbo charge mini window won't come down only on driver side" : started when it got cold out and when i shut the door the window will seal by going up but won't roll down: Also when i wash it the driver side window gets a few drips of water in it towards the front of the window: Anyone give me and idea whats wrong: does it need to be programed?

Did you try the reset procedure?
