Removing Passenger Side CV Shaft Question
Removing Passenger Side CV Shaft Question
I'm doing my pass. side CV shaft right now and following the Haynes manual as closely as possible. One thing I did notice was the calipers and the rotor are off of the assembly in the pictures but no mention of removing them in the instructions.
Any idea if I have to pull the rotor and caliper off the hub to get the CV shaft out? Also, if I don't have to pull them off can I still use a puller to get the shaft to seperate from the hub, or will the damage the brakes? Any other ideas on how to seperate the cv shaft from the hub?
Thanks for your help!

Nevermind guys got it. Just loosened the hub nut about half and inch and tapped it until it came loose. Then it slid right out... now to figure out how to get the shaft out of the transaxle.
