*KNOCK-KNOCK!* sound <<==WHAT'S THIS?

So when I drive my Mini, I always here a knocking sound the passenger side while accelerate on 1st gear to 2nd gear. and slowing down too. I hear it alot when I'm slowly driving. So I assume that this happen all the time I step on gas and release the gas pedal.
The sound of knocking seems to sound like some kind of something is hitting the body or the car.

Anyone what this is? And does anyone have this problem?

THANK YOU!!!

Engine mounts may be shot.

If it happens more when you're turning, it could be a bad Constant Velocity joint.

Either that, or the passenger side mount is shot.

Do you have your windows down?
If so, you might look at rear seat belt.
Sometimes they will get flapping with the window down.
