Gen 2 Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) Database

MINI Gen 2 Technical Service Bulletins-Google Doc

I've finished the database of all the TSBs I've discovered for the Gen 2 cars. The Google Doc has the SIM number, SIM Subject, and MediaFire link for the PDF download.

MediaFire Folder with all TSB PDFs: Contains all the TSB PDFs discovered so far. You should be able to download the whole folder if desired. EDIT: I didn't realize you had to be a "pro" member of MediaFire to download the entire folder. Not the best solution, but for now I've made a zip file with all the current TSBs here: MINI TSB Archive.zip (11 Mb) EDIT 3/25/11: Updated zip file to contain an Excel spreadsheet and PDF of the database for offline usage. Excel file and PDF are also in the MediaFire folder.

Please comment on any errors you've found or additional SIM numbers that are not in the list so they can be added.

Excellent! Thank you!

Just a quick note that if anyone subscribes to minitechinfo.com has access to the TSB database. That's where I pulled some of the window and other TSBs from.

swopey 04-12-2011 09:46 AM

so is this for things that would be covered under warrenty or would they be considered defective and not require a warrenty. ie im at 75k and no warrenty but the sunshade keeps opening, would that be covered by them?

AgileBeagles 04-12-2011 01:00 PM

Great info to have! Thank you, sir!!

steaming79 04-12-2011 04:39 PM

WHOA. this is like the BMW/MINI playbook. omfg.

thanks!

...but ARGH!!! i just hit 50k miles.

i have ALL three listed sunroof problems.

like Swopey said, if you're past warranty, can these TSBs still be addressed free of charge!?

MiamiGuitarMan 04-13-2011 03:40 AM

Just bought my Mini yesterday. This is great info!!

Gil-galad 04-13-2011 04:54 AM

Nice reference...thanks. I'm actually surprised the list is as short as it is.

TheCheatOSX 04-18-2011 06:37 PM

This probably isn't all of them, only the ones I've discovered. If anyone has a SIM number from an invoice, etc. not on the list let me know.

Still looking for a sticky. :sly:

MattSaint 04-21-2011 05:12 PM

Bump, for a sticky. Don't want to let this information be lost in a sea of other posts.

2nd that and again would these be similar to a recall or a defect? meaning would they be covered on mini's out of warrenty? ie ME!

Gil-galad 04-22-2011 06:02 AM

I'll throw my vote in for sticky status.

Cannedtuna 04-22-2011 06:29 AM
