Window won't automatically roll down when door is closed
ERP title should read window won't roll down when door is opened. :o
My new 2010 MC has 1000 miles - it's about 25-30 degrees here tonight but it's been chilly for a while (Richmond VA); I closed my door after getting in the car and the window hadn't autorolled down. I am able to open/close the window (it's not frozen), but it still won't automatically roll down then back up when the door is opened/closed. The door doesn't close properly without me manually (electrically) opening the window, closing the door, then closing the window. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! |
Folks have reported problems with the window "dippers." You might want to read through this thread for the reset procedure; I think one of the most recent posts reviews it.
That failing, it probably means a trip to the dealer for a software update. |
Thanks!

Yep for the 2nd gen the reset worked - hold toggle down until window reaches bottom, keep holding 15 seconds; hold it up until window reaches top, keep holding 15 seconds.
