New 03 MCS owner in Arizona

Hey All!

I recently purchased a 2003 Mini Cooper S. Freaking love the car.

I have one question about the car.

While doing the Seafoam treatment (as I do on all my used cars), I noticed that there was some coolant leaking from the coolant expansion tank cap. Is this normal? I do see a metal tray just beneath the expansion tank for maybe catching the coolant?

Any Ideas?

Also, the metal tray underneath is actually a heatshield, since the exhaust header is right below.
