Have you tried lubing the "slide" in between the door and the frame (at the front of the door/frame) with White Lithium grease? It gets dry and seems to cause squeaks. Other than that, Super Walmart sells a White Lithium grease spray that you can spray into the hinges, too, if needed.

I used generic all purpose grease from a tub that I had laying around. I smeared some onto the hinges and worked it in. No squeaks ever and it has a very smooth operation.

Yeah, use the lithium grease. If you run across a dry lubricant, it'll work too. It's a graphite type spray.

Gun lube works fine, but there are new high tech dry sprays that are waterproof. I can't remember name, but they are great for things like that (and power antennas on other cars)
