2009 R57S clock doesn't change time and radio stays on

I have a 2009 R57 S and recently had replaced the valve cover from a failed pcv valve along with new ignition coils, spark plugs, valve cleaning a new low pressure fuel pump and a new coolant pump and battery regristration (the issue appeared before but magically went away and has since come back).... now my radio stays on even after I remove the key and so does the clock when I turn it off. also the clock doesnt change time anymore. the problem seems to come and go but I have spent almost 6000 in repairs in the last month for a car with 56,000 miles on it... The car runs fine, starts fine and, I dont notice any other issues but after 6k in repairs, Im at my wits end wth "what next?" any ideas what may be causing it

is your battery GOOD .... without a doubt?

these lil beasts get very funky when the battery starts to go . . .

if the battery is more than 4 years old I'd be suspicious

No, its less then 1 yr old. I didn't know it needed to be registered and just got it registered today along with the coolant pump replacement... so I have been driving with an "unregistered battery" for nearly a year. If it just needs a new battery and registration Id almost be thrilled at "only" spending 200 bucks for a simpleish repair.... but according to the BMW specialty shop, that charges "B(B)ring (M)oney (W)ith you" prices that did a full diagnosic when my PCV valve went.... the battery was ok, just needed to be registered or it wouldn't last as long.... they did diagnosis over 6K worth of other needed/suggested repairs and I paid for it.... it seems to have gone off, maybeit took some time for the car to adjust to a newly registered battery?
