Action needed or not with Service light?

Please excuse the basic questions. I'm not used to these newfangled cars with computers that tell you stuff. 2013 Mini, 20,764 miles. Service light has come on. When I look at the details the lights are:

Brake fluid 11/2018 - this is just a time based check right?

Then it has the generic what I think is "vehicle check" light. 17,000 and 11/2020. So this is both miles and time based?

Then it has front brakes at 12,000 miles and rear brakes at 22,000 miles. Are these both time based as well?

I had it at the dealer about 300 miles ago and they told me no services were due, so I can't figure out what triggered it to light now, and what if any action I should take. They specifically checked the front brakes which were fine they said. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I saw the reset service light FAQ thread, but if there is another FAQ I should be reading, just point me there.

the brake fluid appears to be the only one past due

and you can reset that one your self . . .

I think the dealer failed to reset the brake fluid alert

I think the brake fluid change is mileage based. In any case, once I get that service indicator, I have the brake fluid changed.

Brake fluid is 2 years last time I had it done. Dealer did the flush and I was back in the shop for something else and they did it again a month later. So much for record keeping at MINI.

The mileage figures for the brakes are estimates based on past driving habits of your car and you. They are often wildly inaccurate.

Thank you all..I wonder why the service light only just started showing up with the brake fluid light due 9 months ago. Anyway, I will reset it (it doesn't seem to want to reset, but I will keep trying)
