HI,

I just had some work done at my (new) local Mini Dealer. Window dipper fix, Service for brake fluid/cabin filter. I had also noticed a weird cluth noise on reverse and down shifting. Come to find out there is a clutch assembly replacement recall. Cool huh?

Well car starts/Idles fine. I have no Turbo/boost?????? Feels like i am running on 3 cylinders I was told the tech had driven it to make sure clutch was working correctly and how this was not noticed??


I can hear a slight noise when stepping on the gas then off. What is disconnected to cause this?? What could have happened?? Back to the dealer in the morning

Check all your hoses and such...especially the ALTA turbo inlet hose. Sounds like something popped off.

 

^ +1- Sorry to hear about these troubles. Could be the SA was given a bad bill of goods by the tech so I would not place initial blame on him/her.......guess good help is hard to find even in these times.
