Where can I get this part? please help!

My sisters 02 cooper S is a manual tranny with the oil pressure relief spring thing in the picture, which is broken, missing some clips that hold it in place in the filter housing. Oil lamp comes on at idle because of it! I cant find this part anywhere does anyone know where to get one or have one to sell?

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...97&hg=11&fg=30

lists the part numbers.. looks like you're probably #s 6-10

here's the valve itself @ allminiparts.com, $14:

http://www.allminiparts.com/products...411485165.html

search on there for the other parts numbers listed in the exploded view on realoem..

good luck!

The pressure sensor from the oil filter housing... The part you have there cannot be obtained separately, it doesn't even show up on RealOEM. You'll actually have to buy a whole new housing. This has happened to others before.

Next time, be sure to lube the rubber on the oil filter so that it slides on the pressure sensor.

You can try these guys - they're in CA - Rancho Cordova.
I've used them for Miata parts in the past.
