Driver's window rattle
 

The driver's window on my '05 Cabrio makes a very annoying (but not loud)rattle at low speeds with the top down and window up. It makes the same noise as you raise the window. With the window up and the door open if you gently shake the door it will also make the sound.

Getting ready to take door trim and and have a look. Wondering if anyone's run intop this before?

Did you find the answer to the problem? My passenger window rattles when I close the door and I also have a very annoying rattle in the drivers door. Somewhat concerning given this car is brand new with less than 500 miles on it.

Bumping my own old post...

Both door windows seem to be loose and rattling.
Car stopped and the door open if I hold the door handle and shake the door back and forth there’s a light metal rattling sound that seems to be coming from the window base.
Windows up going over small bumps the light metal rattling noise is there.
Windows part way down over large bumps there can be a slapping noise from the windows.
Windows down I don’t hear any rattling (probably just drowned out by road noise).

Anyone ever resolved this?
