HELP!! Can't find "TMAP Sensor"
 

I have seen several mentions of a MAP and a TMAP sensor in threads (two different parts), but I cannot find a "TMAP" sensor in RealOEM parts, at the dealer's parts counter, or in my Bentley's service manual.

Does anyone know what the part's "real" name is, or can you furnish a photo or pic of it to at least find it?

If you want to look it up yourself by your VIN in Realoem.com go to group 11 Engine. one is in subgroup 11 35, engine cooling. The other is in subrgroup 11 40, intake manifold.

So there are actually two "MAP" sensors. One is screwed into the Intake Manifold. The other into a bracket that is held onto the engine at the thermostat housing, which it appears attaches just below the head toward the back of the engine on the driver's side? Correct?

yes. one measures pressure before the supercharger and the other one measures pressure after the supercharger
